As such, the Patient Representative must at all times exemplify customer service skills consistent with that of the department. In addition, to ensure safe and accurate delivery of care, and follow-up care, it is extremely important that accurate demographic information be obtained from patients at every visit. Responsible for patient scheduling, preregistration, registration and insurance authorization. Qualifications: · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) · One year experience in administrative support or customer service required · Two or more years experience in medical office preferred · Knowledge of medical terminology & hospital scheduling preferred · Ability to answer and direct phone calls and manage reception · Excellent organization and communication skills We take great care of careers.
