CVS Health Manager Human Resources Compliance - Colleague Relations in Hartford, Connecticut

Position Summary

This role is classified as hybrid and will be filled in either Hartford, CT or Woonsocket, RI. Additional office locations may be considered

  • This position is responsible for consulting on compliance matters regarding areas of federal, state, and municipal employment related regulatory requirements. (e.g., FLSA/Wage Hour; ADA/Disability; FMLA/USERRA/Leave Laws; HIPAA; SOX; GLBA/Privacy Laws; WARN; ERISA, etc.).

  • Conducts internal and external HR related audits, including wage hour audits, company client audits: accreditation and recertifications, and develops follow-up strategies and plans where necessary.

  • Monitors the external regulatory environment and ensures applicable legislative changes are effectively triaged to Policy Managers.

  • Assists with strategies for ongoing compliance with business retention requirements as a government contractor (e.g., special reporting requirements, unique background check requirements).

  • Researches and assists with the development of HR policies and practices, based on legal and regulatory trends, CVS Health values, best practices, and business strategies.

  • Aides in the development of HR Policy documents and communications to deliver targeted messaging to impacted business units, key shareholders, and Colleagues.

  • Prepares and files regulatory reports, fulfills policy redaction requests and monitors annual compliance regulations.

  • Promotes employment related compliance awareness, education, and training by monitoring compliance with applicable federal, state, and municipal employment related laws and regulations.

  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SME) and Centers of Excellence (COE) partners on delivery of system capabilities to support company tools, policies, and processes.

  • Responsible for compliance with labor law posters, tracking new locations, closed locations and updates to posters based on federal, state, and municipality employment law changes.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources and/or employment law

  • Wage and Hour audit compliance experience

  • Proven written and verbal communications skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong problem solving, analytical, decision making and project management skills

  • Strong collaboration with the business, key stakeholders, and partner SMEs/COEs

Education

Bachelors required or equivalent amount of experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$63,300.00 - $139,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
