About the Role
As a CBRE Sales Consultant, you will support clients with strategic planning through the application of sales techniques and operations.
Acting as a subject matter authority in support of the Business Development, Sales, Solutions and Account teams, this role will develop technical solutions for operations and maintenance of EV charging infrastructure.
The primary responsibility of this role is to develop clean and comprehensive operations and maintenance client solutions, and staffing models. Additionally, the role will continuously refine solutions by incorporating customer feedback and evolving market dynamics.
What You’ll Do
Network with industry partners, vendors, and relevant professional organizations to help build out a network of service providers tat can serve out clients' needs.
Stay attuned to customer needs, participate in client discovery and solution meetings to showcase CBRE's technical products and dedication to delivering value.
Be proficient in the competitive landscape of product offerings and able to ensure that CBRE’s product differentiation vs competition is well defined, articulated and understood.
Maintain communication with clients and account teams to ensure their needs are reflects in the solution.
Develop commercial terms, including pricing and standard contract documents that will form the baseline for commercial negotiations and that achieve desired CBRE pricing criteria/governance.
Assure CBRE's EV charging product/offer is used to the fullest of it potential in client engagement.
Deliver feedback to the product organization about opportunities to further improve CBRE's suite of EV charging products.
Coordinate the bid management process through the development of RFI’s, RFP’s and client presentations.
Maintain relationships with our existing and prospective client base in establishing strong personal credibility and ensure needs are reflected in the solution.
Build awareness and culture of cross-selling and improved focus on new business cultivation.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in technology and ability to adapt to new tools and software.
Outstanding organizational skills with a sophisticated inquisitive approach.
Strong preference for experience in EV charging, infrastructure design, engineering or deployment of EV charging infrastructure.
Proven track record in technical sales and ability to be a key member of a commercial/deal team.
Experience with distributed renewable energy (solar) and battery storage is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication abilities (in English).
Ability to lead customer discussions towards resolution and redefine business and technical requirements into clear, high-quality solutions.
Financial proficiency and competence.
International experience is a plus – ability to be successful in different market environments and cultural settings.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The maximum salary for the Sales Consultant, EV Solutions PJM position is $160,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
