Job Description:

At Regions, the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Program Manager at this level oversees one or more moderately complex projects. This position is responsible for the group’s entire communication approach to create and drive the strategy that transforms the inclusion vision into actionable programs and initiatives that shape Regions’ culture. This role will directly contribute to “Lean into Our Strength” and “Execute and Compete with Passion and Purpose” strategic priorities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensures the effective rollout of DEI programs

  • Serves as primary point of contact and subject-matter expert for content relating to the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) JAM intranet page, including content derived from the DEI Center of Excellence, as well as creating/updating DEI Network and/or Regions.com content

  • Drafts effective logistic communication for stakeholders and participants at all phases of DEI projects and training programs

  • Takes ownership of the Inclusion Observance Calendar, including the assembling of teams, assigning responsibilities, developing schedules, and acquiring resources

  • Coordinates applicable Degreed content in partnership with senior DEI Program Managers

  • Partners with multi-disciplinary teams such as Corporate Communications and Content Strategy teams or functional areas such as Corporate Marketing and Community Affairs

  • Collaborates with applicable teams in executing communication strategies for retention, engagement, inclusion, and promotion of diverse talent

  • Serves as the Program Manager for “Building Regions’ Associate Veteran Experience” (BRAVE)

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field

  • One (1) year of experience in project/product/program management and/or content design

Additional Job Description

The DEI Program Manager is responsible for creating content for and branding of our DEI programs. This role will work in partnership with the Regions communications team and other stakeholders to effectively deliver DEI communication and programs that shape our culture.

Additionally, this role will manage our 2 current signature inclusion programs—BRAVE, and Disability Accommodations. The output of this role will be directly linked to our ‘Lean into Our Strengths’ and ‘Execute and Compete with Passion and Purpose’ strategic priorities.

This role will require creativity and the demonstrated ability to think out of box. Additionally, the successful candidate must be able to collaborate, and problem solve with stakeholders to reach the best outcome and possess strong communication and leadership skills. This role will report to the Head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the national range and level of the position.
