Job Description

A state employer is seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer to join their team to sit onsite in Connecticut at least 1x a week. This position is open because they are in need of a DevOps Engineer to assist in the current AWS migration effort. The company recently went through an AWS migration, and are looking for someone to help come in and take things to the next level by standardizing and modernizing applications and providing maintenance. This person will be responsible for AWS cloud infrastructure, optimizing, securing and delivering on all the AWS services that are needed. They will also be troubleshooting and assisting with any application issues as well as doing automation and infrastructure as code.

Skills and Requirements

7+ years experience as an AWS DevOps Engineer

Demonstrated experience with AWS - MULTI cloud/ azure

Delivering large scale enterprise deployments using standard devOps tools such as Terraform, Jenkins or Ansible.

Experience managing servers and environments from an infrastructure perspective

Experience with one or more programming languages such as: Bash, shell or python

Exemplary communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and upper management -AWS Certifications null
