Where is the work:

This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week.

What you will do:

Trane has a new exciting opportunity to join our organization as a Service Coordinator in our Service organization. You've imagined it many times. You're working at a company that challenges you to innovate and encourages you to apply your talent and knowledge. Where you're empowered and expected to make decisions that propel business growth. This position is required to closely interact with an energetic group including the Area Service Manager and assigned team members to ensure the timely completion of each project. Coordinates and communicates with customers on project status and maintenance requests. Process and coordinate internal Trane claims by evaluation and qualifying requests, collecting information and completing forms, responding to questions, and tracking progress.

This role is responsible for moderately complex planning, coordinating, controlling, and directing activities of operational resources. They are also responsible for customer interaction, communicating with the Field Technician Supervisors, and coordinating jobs with Area Service Managers. Trane always focuses on a total solution to provide our customers with the most energy efficient buildings!

  • Coordinates service resources

  • Assigns team members to project

  • Schedules personnel, materials, sub-contractors and equipment based on project needs, skill sets, and availability.

  • Inputs project location to system.

  • Generates Work Order Documents, dispatches technicians, and notifies customers.

  • Responsible for customer interaction/satisfaction.

  • Interacts and communicates with all Project Managers and HVAC Field Technician Supervisor to assign/dispatch Controls Technicians and HVAC Technicians.

  • Coordinates operations interaction with the Parts Department and Acquisition, as necessary.

  • Reviews project paperwork, complete calls, and forwards project paperwork to Project Administrators.

  • Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, routing them to the assigned staff, and responding to special requests.

  • Logs service start-up and service work requirements in job tracking system.

  • Responsible for generating, interpreting, and printing various assigned reports.

  • Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.

What you will bring:

  • Must have strong communication skills, proactive approach with willingness to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Proven experience prioritizing tasks in order to meet tight deadlines within a high paced environment.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs.

  • Familiarity with the operation of Energy Management Systems, HVAC Systems and/or Temperature Controls preferred.

  • Flexibility to work overtime/ weekends, as required.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • In depth knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows

  • Familiarity with the operation of Energy Management Systems, HVAC Systems and/or Temperature Controls preferred

  • Proactive approach with willingness to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Proven experience prioritizing tasks in order to meet tight deadlines within a high paced environment

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $ 50,000-65,000

Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
