DESCRIPTION OF WORK As the Secretary of the State Board of Pharmacy, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the board. This includes being the liaison between the public, practicing pharmacists, and support work units to ensure compliance in the areas of licensing and inspection. You will:

Be key liaison and connect the board with the Bureau of Enforcement and Investigation, other state agencies, and the public, ensuring clear and effective communication Shape policy by playing a role in developing legislation, rules, and regulations that will impact the future of pharmacy Use your understanding of the Pharmacy Practice Act and related laws to be the primary source of information for the board and the public Manage board meetings, maintain important files, and keep our operations running smoothly Ensure pharmacies meet high standards, providing crucial information about compliance and violations Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Experience as a licensed pharmacist for the last five years.

Special Requirements: You must be in possession of a license to practice pharmacy as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy.
