Job Description

The Post Closer is responsible for completing various administrative tasks related to the closing of a real estate transaction which include scanning closing documents into the appropriate files, mailing necessary paperwork and checks to required parties and organizing county documents for recording.  This position also includes the preparation of title policies and endorsements. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Quality control- verify that the closing package is properly signed and notarized as required;

• Ensure all legal documents are sent timely to registries for recording (i.e. mortgage, deeds, affidavits and any other documents);

• Copy closing package for internal scanning and shipping to the lender.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to learn company specific software programs

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Willingness to work in a paperless environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skill

• Ability to work well in a team as well as independently

• Must display professionalism with communication and interaction with internal
