The Pennsylvania Parole Board is looking for a highly motivated individual with exceptional attention to detail to join our team as a Parole Staff Technician 2. This position receives cases directly from the board and special assignments by the unit manager to review to determine proper and accurate wording of Board actions. DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Parole Staff Technician 2 for the Parole Board, you perform analysis on the implementation requirements of the Parole Board and court case actions. Duties include researching, analyzing, and evaluating all violation hearing materials, and reviewing and prioritizing incoming correspondence. In addition, you provide office support by answering telephone inquiries, and sorting, prioritizing, and controlling cases to facilitate timely processing.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to three days a week after sufficient training. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 60 or 65. Salary:Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $47,472 (before taxes). Necessary Special Requirement: The employee must obtain Commonwealth Law Enforcement Assistance Network (CLEAN) certification within three months of employment and maintain this certification for the duration of employment in this position.
