We are hiring hard-working consultants to join our North America-based Energy & Water Consulting team. Preferred candidates will have software implementation experience including functional design creation, business process definition, testing skills along with experience implementing customer billing solutions for utilities (electric, gas, water) or other types of service providers (telecom, cable, etc).

While currently the majority of our work is done remotely, this position should expect up to 50 to 60% travel in the future based on client and project needs.

This role will provide technical and functional solutioning on Oracle Energy & Water implementation projects. In this role, you will work directly with client business sponsors and leads to ensure focus on case objectives, using standard methodology processes across the solution, and scope management. You will be trained on SaaS-specific capabilities in order to help our customers get the most out of their Oracle solutions. Internally you will coordinate across the various delivery architects to ensure cohesive, consistent solutions and work.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing utilities industry standard methodology and multi-product Oracle solutions, through global engagements in Oracle Energy & Water implementations in North America

  • Providing leadership to our implementation teams by promoting consistency across the team, including methodology, result templates, terminology, etc

  • Serving our clients as a trusted advisor, using standard processes in the industry with Oracle solutions

  • Developing key relationships within Oracle by providing field feedback to our R&D team and providing direct support to our sales teams

  • Promoting, crafting, and encouraging the use of the reusable collateral/accelerators

  • Sharing knowledge across peer group

  • Providing leadership and mentorship in defining the overall solution landscape and strategy for our clients

  • Partnering with client business leadership to educate their organization on key changes to current business processes

Qualifications

  • Utility industry (electric, gas, water) experience is preferred, either as a full-time employee or a billable consultant. Telecommunications or Cable industry billing and customer information systems experience will be considered.

  • 5+ years overall relevant professional experience, including experience in consulting and large scale system implementations.

  • Understanding of SDLC and some technical competence (scripting or basic coding languages, software testing, techno/functional skills).

  • Strong desire for career growth within Oracle.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, etc…strongly preferred.

  • Ability to learn quickly - if you do not have direct experience with Oracle Utilities solutions, we will train you!

  • This is a full time remote role, but you must be open to travel up to 50% to 60%, if the client prefers Oracle to be on site.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the United States only

Hiring Range: from $64,100 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
