Oracle Cerner Lead Engagement Executive / Consulting Project Technical Manager

Job Description :

  • Lead strategy and accountability for highly complex, multi-site client programs

  • Mitigate and resolve engagement risks proactively and serve as final point of escalation

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to execute client and methodology vision, objectives, and strategy

  • Provide executive oversight for engagements so that project deliverables and timelines are met while ensuring value is delivered to the client as committed

  • Accountable for external C-suite level client relationships

  • Manage complex client and project team matters

People Management Responsibilities (for associates with one or more direct reports):

  • Seek to understand disagreements, ensure all perspectives are heard and facilitate a plan for resolution.

  • Delegate the work appropriately, provide clear expectations and follow up to ensure progress and overcome roadblocks. Identify associates and team priorities based on business direction and adjust when needed.

  • Lead by example and share knowledge and experiences with associates and team. Create a respectful work environment where you advocate for your team, create accountability and recognize accomplishments.

  • Provide timely feedback to encourage success, ensure accountability and connect opportunities for your associates' development.

  • Identify the right talent to achieve the desired results. Promote and build a diverse and cohesive team to accomplish objectives and align associates' skills to fill gaps.

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 10 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:

  • At least 3 years healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support, project/program management, client relationship management and/or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experience

  • At least 7 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education

  • High School Diploma

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience

  • Lean Six Sigma Certification - International Association for Six Sigma Certification

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) - Project Management Institute (PMI)

Expectations

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

  • Willing to travel up to 100% as needed

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position

As a recognized authority and leading contributor, this project management professional, provides consistent innovative and high quality solution leadership. Responsible for guiding the successful implementation of non-routine and complex business solutions ensuring high quality and timely delivery within budget to the customer’s satisfaction.

Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle’s solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices and product knowledge. Effectively applies Oracle’s methodologies and policies while adhering to contractual obligations, thereby minimizing Oracle’s risk and exposure. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques for effective project delivery on small to medium engagements. Provides direction and mentoring to project team. Effectively influences decisions at the management level of customer organizations. Ensures deliverables are acceptable and works closely with the customer to understand and manage project expectations. Supports business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain credibility. Manages the scope of medium sized projects including the recovery of remedial projects.

8-10 years of experience relevant to this position. Prior project team leadership or management experience. Demonstrated ability to follow solid project management principles. Comfortable working in a matrix management environment. Strong communication skills to deal with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the portfolio focus. Selling skills preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

As a Lead Engagement Executive, you will lead strategy and accountability for highly complex, multi-site client implementations in the Consulting space. You will mitigate and resolve engagement risks proactively and serve as final point of escalation and lead cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to execute client and methodology vision, objectives, and strategy. You will provide executive oversight for engagements so that project deliverables and timelines are met while ensuring value is delivered to the client as committed and be accountable for external C-suite level client relationships. You will also manage complex client and project team matters, attend and represent clients/Oracle Cerner at risk review meetings and project status meetings and mentor and guide engagement management team to grow their skills and escalation management abilities.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)

New York City Pay Range: from $90,600 to $182,400 per annum; eligible for bonus and equity.

Colorado Pay Range: from $90,600 to $172,800 per annum; eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
