Job Title: Manual Machinist
Job Description
We are currently seeking a Manual Machinist for our local shop. The successful candidate will be responsible for manually machining all parts and performing minor welding tasks. The role includes measuring with high precision, using a variety of equipment such as a manual lathe, mill, vertical table lathe, and horizontal boring mill, and manufacturing custom parts or tools. Training will be provided in Louisiana for 4 weeks. Responsibilities also include setting up and operating machine tools, executing machining operations in accordance with approved procedures, and performing repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting on various mechanical equipment, primarily in the shop environment.

Work Environment
Manufacturing/Shop environment - It is a smaller shop with semi-dirty conditions and older manual equipment. The position is for 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-3:00 PM with occasional Saturdays and possible variations in start/end times. Pay ranges from $27-$34 per hour, based on experience.
