The Bureau of Human Services Licensing is seeking a Licensing Representative to conduct inspections and investigations of personal care homes and assisted living residences. DESCRIPTION OF WORK As part of the Bureau of Human Services Licensing in the Office of Long-Term Living, you will conduct inspections for the purpose of enforcing state laws and regulations governing the licensing of personal care homes and assisted living residences to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of personal care home and assisted living residence clients. Some of the duties include conducting inspections of facilities to ensure regulations are being met, conducting investigations, identifying violations, and reviewing these violations with the facility staff. You will travel in the Northeast Region (Berks, Bradford, Cameron, Carbon, Clinton, Centre, Columbia, Lackawanna, Lehigh, Luzerne, Lycoming, Monroe, Montour, Northampton, Northumberland, Pike, Potter, Schuylkill, Snyder, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga, Union, Wayne, and Wyoming counties) to oversee the licensing requirements of personal care homes and assisted living residences.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute (12:00 PM to 12:30 PM) lunch. This position is home headquartered. Your office is based from your home unless you are in the field. Travel: You will be required to travel to the Northeast Region, including Berks, Bradford, Cameron, Carbon, Clinton, Centre, Columbia, Lackawanna, Lehigh, Luzerne, Lycoming, Monroe, Montour, Northampton, Northumberland, Pike, Potter, Schuylkill, Snyder, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga, Union, Wayne, and Wyoming counties. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of professional experience gathering and analyzing information in a social service or law enforcement program, and a bachelor's degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
