The Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) within the Bureau of Community Supports is seeking detail-oriented Human Services Licensing Representatives with exceptional communication skills to conduct inspections of community service providers to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of residents utilizing adult training facilities, vocational facilities, community homes, and family living homes. DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Human Services Licensing Representative for the Central Region, you will be responsible for for inspection, licensure, and monitoring of community service providers to ensure they meet the appropriate regulatory standards and are operating in accordance with legal requirements and established rules and regulations. You will complete investigations and reports, as needed. You will also review documentation annually to ensure providers are meeting regulations; complete walkthroughs of homes to ensure the homes meet regulations; and identify and review violations with the provider.

In this position, you will travel, as necessary, throughout the Central Region which includes Adams, Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Centre, Clinton, Columbia, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, Juniata, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lycoming, Mifflin, Montour, Northumberland, Perry, Snyder, Somerset, Union, and York counties.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of professional experience gathering and analyzing information in a social service or law enforcement program, and a bachelor's degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
