DESCRIPTION OF WORK Your main responsibilities revolve around long-term care programs for older adults and adults with physical disabilities. Specifically, you will focus on nursing facility payments and policies within the Fee for Service and Community HealthChoices programs. Your role requires you to stay updated on regulations and policies related to long-term care, and you will be involved in tasks such as developing state plan amendments, public notices, and other forms of communication. Additionally, you will analyze state and federal regulations to understand their impact on the Office of Long-Term Living (OLTL) programs. At times, you may also conduct research and gather information to support the development of policies and procedures. Lastly, you will collaborate with various stakeholders by participating in work groups and meetings with individuals from OLTL, other state agencies, and external organizations.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to five (5) days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. One year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs; and a bachelor's degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs.
