Robert Half Human Resources Administrator in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

Description We are searching for a diligent and meticulous Human Resources Administrator to join our team in HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania. This role primarily involves performing various administrative HR tasks, assisting in hiring and onboarding efforts, conducting background checks, and maintaining detailed spreadsheets and word documents. The individual will be expected to work on-site during the training period, following which a hybrid work model will be adopted.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the hiring and onboarding process across various branches

• Conducting thorough background checks and reference checks for potential candidates

• Creating and maintaining detailed spreadsheets and word documents relevant to HR processes

• Assisting in Employee Relations and Compliance functions

• Managing and updating employee records, ensuring their accuracy and validity

• Assisting in benefit functions and ensuring all employee benefits are administered effectively

• Responding to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs

• Coordinating and assisting with employee performance reviews

• Assisting with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures

• Participating in the development of department goals, objectives, and systems. Requirements

• Proficient in managing Benefit Functions including health, retirement, and other employee benefits

• Strong knowledge of HR Compliance and legal regulations related to employment practices and labor laws

• Proven track record in fostering positive Employee Relations and conflict resolution

• Experience in employee Onboarding processes, including orientation and training

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees at all levels

• Detail-oriented and well-organized, with strong administrative and record-keeping abilities

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

• Proficiency in using HRIS and other HR-related software and tools

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field preferred

• Professional certification in Human Resources (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
