DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will interact with customers in a hybrid, remote call center environment via telephone and in writing according to established policies and procedures. Work includes answering questions related to employee benefits and services, providing limited technical assistance in the use of internal resources and online forms, and both inputting and retrieving information for the HR Master Database relating to employee benefits and services. You will also research employee data and analyze information to determine and recommend the appropriate action. Specialists and your supervisor will provide guidance when there is confusion or an absence of information in your knowledge base or resources to answer specific questions. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, working in the office one day per month or as required. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Human Resource Assistant 1 (Commonwealth title); or One year of clerical or other comparable experience and one year of beginning level paraprofessional human resource or equal opportunity work; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
