Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Highway Maintenance Coordinator in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

Our District 8-0 Office is looking for a skilled highway maintenance professional to join our team and help us manage several maintenance programs and ensure other regulatory compliance activities are in check. DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will be in charge of overseeing compliance with several highway maintenance programs such as the Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4), the department's Strategic Environmental Program (SEMP), the implementation of emergency management activities, permit requirements, and other regulatory obligations. You will work with District executives and serve as the District Storage Tank Coordinator. This is a key function to ensure our District is in compliance with the Tank Act and the Tank Program requirements outlined by state and federal regulatory requirements. We will train you to become the main point of contact to answer questions, maintain compliance, participate in emergency operations, and communicate essential maintenance plans for District 8-0.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time at the discretion of the supervisor. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notice.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Three years as a Highway Foreman 2; or Five years of technical experience in highway maintenance or highway construction; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Necessary Special Requirement:

This position requires possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent. Other Requirements: You must meet the PA residency requirement.
