DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, your duties include preparing assigned portions of the department's annual budget request, legislative budget hearing materials, and re-budgeting. You monitor, analyze, and develop reports on federal grants and state funds administered by the department and work with appropriate program areas on implementation and administration of designated federal and state funding. You also provide technical assistance to agency officials and program managers in the preparation of budgetary requests and other fiscal documents and transactions. In addition, you participate in meetings and discussions with department and/or federal officials on budgetary and fiscal issues.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Work hours may be negotiable between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute or 60-minute lunch. You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. You will be expected to report to the office as needed or as directed by your supervisor. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Please check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as a Fiscal Management Specialist 2; or Two years of experience in professional fiscal administration, and a bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Other Requirements:
