The Department of Health (DOH) is actively searching for a Fiscal Management Specialist 2 to perform complex professional analytical and supervisory work in the preparation, review, and analysis of fiscal information associated with administering Federal NSA (Administrative), Food. DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this role, you will utilize your fiscal management experience to participate in annual and ad hoc monitoring of spending plans and projections to determine the availability of funds in compliance with statutes, policies, and other fiscal controls, and provide guidance and direction on the use and availability of funds. You will perform daily account reconciliations of food bank redemption files; prepare state agency fiscal policy and procedure documents, reports, and correspondence; prepare special program reports for the division, department and legislature; participate in official audits of state agency operations; and work with the Comptroller's office to resolve any issues that may arise with accounting transactions and reports in relation to administrative expenditures.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. You must report to the office one (1) day per month or as required by business need. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Fiscal Management Specialist 1; or One year of experience in professional fiscal administration, and a bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
