As an Executive Budget Specialist 2 in the Division of Education and Economic Development, you will be responsible for the following agencies, boards and commissions: Department of Community and Economic Development, Pennsylvania Housing Finance Authority, Municipal Retirement Board, and Department of Revenue (including Lottery).  You will play an active role in a variety of duties associated with budget analysis, fiscal policy analysis, legislative analysis, and performance improvement.  Excellent communication skills are vital in order to foster strong working relationships and collaborations to assist in the development of communication material.  Based upon operational needs or the specific skills of the Executive Budget Specialist 2, the Division Manager or Director of Budget Analysis may reorganize assignments.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days a week telework, and 2 days a week in the office.  In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection.  If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as an Executive Budget Specialist 1, Fiscal Policy Specialist 1 or a Budget Analyst 3; or Three years of experience in budget policy and program analysis in a government agency and a bachelor's degree in policy analysis and planning, public analysis, or a closely related field; or One year of experience in policy and program analysis in a government agency and a master's degree in policy analysis and planning, public or business analysis, or a closely related field; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Preferred Qualifications (not required): Experience using SAP.
