DESCRIPTION OF WORK This position involves structured trainee work focused on the development, coordination, execution, and promotion of emergency management training and exercises. You will participate in various training sessions, workshops, exercises, and on-the-job assignments to enhance their skills in planning, organizing, equipping, and evaluating emergency management training and exercises. Additionally, you will assist the staff in developing, coordinating, promoting, and evaluating emergency management training and exercise programs.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Schedule is dependent on activations or other needs of the operation. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, after completion of a comprehensive on-site training period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. A bachelor's degree in emergency management, homeland security, or a closely related field; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Special Requirement This position requires possession of a valid driver's license which is not under suspension.
