DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will be responsible for planning, directing, managing, and supervising the activities and operations of the Bureau of Administrative Services within the Department of Agriculture. This includes direct oversight of four divisions: Budget and Finance, Contracting and Procurement, Grants Management, and Office and Regional Services. The role entails overall direction and administration of the agency's budget, performance metrics, budget execution, and ensuring program efficiencies that align with the Department's objectives.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 1 day per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Six years of professional administrative experience including three years of supervisory experience in budgeting, accounting, purchasing, management methods work, or a closely related field, and a bachelor's degree; or An equivalent combination of professional experience and training that includes three years of supervisory experience in budgeting, accounting, purchasing, management methods work, or a closely related field. Additional Requirements:

You must be able to perform essential job functions. Preferred Qualifications (not required): Experience overseeing or managing budget and finance operations.
