Requirements of the Central Supply Assistant:
Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
Working knowledge of medical terminology and experience in ordering and maintaining par levels.
Must be knowledgeable of supply practices, procedures, and guidelines.
Must possess the ability to minimize waste of supplies, misuse of equipment, etc.
Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.
Responsibilities of the Central Supply Assistant:
Responsible for maintaining the daily material flow of medical supplies from central supply to the end user location. This individual will safely and appropiately use proper equipment to deliver specified materials/products. This role is repsonsible for maintaining and ensuring a high quality product with the right fit, form, and functions are available at the end user stocking location. This role is required to engage regularly with department end users and act on specific material/supplies related feedback.
