Job Duties: - Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting - Assist with mobility and transfers, including using proper lifting techniques - Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management - Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nurse - Provide emotional support and companionship to patients - Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry - Prepare and cook meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences - Provide care for patients with memory loss or cognitive impairments - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of patients
Experience: - Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or similar role is preferred - Familiarity with medical terminology and basic understanding of healthcare systems - Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus - Knowledge of hospice care principles and practices is beneficial
