DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will be acting as a Special Agent, hearing and writing decisions on cases involving requests for payment arrangements and appeals from Bureau of Consumer Services informal complaint decisions. You are responsible for reviewing the written decisions of administrative law judges and suggesting revisions or clarifications. You will have the opportunity to perform legal research, prepare legal memoranda, help prepare training and reference materials, and make presentations. In addition, you will serve on various intra and inter-bureau committees.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Telework: This position is headquartered in Harrisburg. Telework is a potential feature of this position. The successful candidate is required to report to the headquarters worksite daily, unless the employee meets eligibility requirements and telework has been approved. To be eligible to participate in telework, the employee's Alternative (telework) Worksite must meet the following requirements: The telework worksite must be located within a reasonable travel distance of Harrisburg and within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Management may discontinue any telework arrangement at any time, for any reason. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Graduation from an accredited school of law and certificate of admission to the Bar of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania; or Completion of all preparatory steps and application to become a member of the Bar of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions. Post Employment Requirement:

Applicants must be certified for admission to the Bar of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and must maintain membership on a continuous basis during employment.
