Job Summary: As the Assistant Tool Room Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the management, maintenance, and distribution of tools and equipment across our projects. Working under the Tool Room Manager, you will ensure that all tools are efficiently organized, maintained, and readily available to support McClure's operations. Your role will involve managing inventory, coordinating job sites, and ensuring the safe and effective use of tools and equipment.

Assistant Tool Room Manager Essential Functions: Assist in managing day to day tool room operations Maintaining all tool processes and procedures Accountability for tool inventory Receiving, ID Marking, Shipping Tools Recoding & Filing packing slips for tool orders to job file Place received tools in correct location Match tool tickets to proper tool, job and accountability Process all red tagged tools for repair Fill tool request for job sites and pull for delivery Delivery slips for tools for jobsite deliveries and drivers Maintain a safe and clean work environment both inside and outside the building Help with Harrisburg facilities snow removal and general facilities maintenance Carry out task as assigned by the Toolroom Manager Operate forklift and maintain qualification Follow all safety requirements Other duties as assigned. Assistant Tool Room Manager education, experience, technical skills & attributes required: High School Diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 2 years of experience in a tool room environment, inventory control or related field, preferably in a mechanical contracting or construction environment Basic tool/power tool knowledge Proficient management skills Effective interpersonal skills and written/verbal communication Strong organizational and problem-solving ability Detail oriented with ability to multi-task Proficient Computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) Energetic with a high sense of urgency Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds Frequent standing, walking and bending Able to work in various environmental conditions Construction trade knowledge, preferred Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Position is full-time Monday - Friday and is not a remote work position.
