TEKsystems Asset Manager in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

Job Purpose and Summary

Currently seeking a high level software Asset Analyst manages hardware inventory and software asset portfolios, focusing on software licensing, spend optimization, risk analysis, and vulnerability management. This role involves leading remediation efforts and providing executive-level reports to drive key business decisions.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage software assets to ensure compliance and optimize licensing.

  • Advise on software updates and licensing impacts.

  • Maintain accurate software and hardware inventories throughout their lifecycle.

  • Collect and input data into asset management tools.

  • Perform licensing compliance analysis and support spend optimization.

  • Create executive reports and dashboards for IT assets.

  • Conduct inventory reviews and validate records.

  • Update systems based on procurement agreements and contract renewals.

  • Process IT asset management service requests.

  • Provide analysis and responses for end-of-life, patch management, risk assessments, audits, and regulatory demands.

  • Maintain IT asset documentation and process procedures.

  • Evaluate and update internal controls and policies to reduce risks.

  • Identify and mitigate system vulnerabilities and risks.

  • Document business criticality of assets to support security posture.

  • Develop and maintain quarterly inventory lists for compliance.

  • Provide guidance for scanning and configuration needs.

  • Assist in developing the Vulnerability Management Workflow.

  • Participate in audit reviews and compliance inquiries.

Education and Experience

  • Proficient in MS Office and SharePoint.

  • Experience with vulnerability management tools.

  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

  • 2-4 years of experience with enterprise asset management tools, IT contract management, IT operations, or compliance.
