The Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission (PHMC) is seeking an Administrative Officer 1 to manage and modernize the agency's grant procedures. Join our team and foster collaboration across multiple program areas to develop new initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK This position manages various PHMC grant programs and assists with agency requests for procurement of contracted services and commodities. Your primary responsibilities in this role will be grant management, document routing, procurement and invoicing, and other administrative tasks. You will assist in the coordination of grant programs at the state level and for sub-grant programs at local government levels, as well as guide and direct program personnel in managing invoice processing and monitoring other activities associated with grants. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, three to four days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements: You must have experience managing or administering grant programs. You must be able to perform essential job functions.
