Description

We are seeking a skilled and driven Accountant to join a reputable organization in Harrisburg, PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting. They will be responsible for preparing, developing and analyzing key financial information to ensure that an organization's management makes well-informed decisions to ensure future stability, growth, and profitability.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform analysis, consolidation, and interpretation of financial data.

• Prepare financial reports and handle tax compliance-related reports.

• Assist with budget preparation, financial planning, and auditing procedures.

• Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules.

• Respond to accounting inquiries from management promptly.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

• Demonstrated experience in accounting with proficiency in ERP systems, specifically QuickBooks and general ledger functions.

• Meticulous attention to detail, and ability to analyze and present data accurately.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.

• Solid knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
