Unarmed Security Officers Part Time and Full Time positions available for the day, evening, and overnight shifts! Responsibilites: Assists the Medical Center Administration in its protection program and provides a safe and secure environment conducive to quality patient care. Enforces all established Medical Center and Safety and Security Department policies and procedures related to the protection program concerned with physical and procedural security designed to safeguard personnel, prevent unauthorized access to equipment, facilities, materials and documents and safeguards them against theft and damage. Garnet Health System provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits. When determining a team member’s compensation and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity) Qualifications SECURITY OFFICER (unarmed) Requirements: Minimum Education: High School Graduate or equivalent. NYS Security Guard License. Minimum Experience: In security field and/or law enforcement preferred. Required Certification/Registration: Must be registered with the Security Guard Registry in Albany. Valid driver’s license without violations meeting insurance carrier criteria. Must be certified in BLS (CPR/AED). Must attend and successfully complete the Hospital Crisis Training Program within 3 months of hire or transfer and annually thereafter, (formally known as PMCS and Code Gray. Workplace type On-site
