Overview: The Garnet Health Medical Center-Catskills is seeking Psychiatric Technician.
Psychiatric Technician assists in the provision of nursing care through the nursing process, Assessment, Planning, Intervention and Evaluation, in the Behavioral Health Unit under the coordination of a Registered Professional Nurse, RN, and or Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN.
Hiring for part time positions, Monday to Sunday, shifts vary, shifts offering 19 to 29 hours weekly. Requirements: Licenses/Certificates required: BLS, EKG, Crisis Training (Training provided if no certificates) Minimum Education: High School Diploma Skills needed to perform the job: Ability to foster collaborative relationships, to work well under pressure, possesses critical thinking, analytical skills and flexibility, and ability to multi-task. Physical Exam and Reference check are required. Salary: $18.45 to $19.00 hourly. Benefits include health insurance, dental insurance, paid vacation, paid sick leave, holidays, and 401k/Retirement.
