Still Life Farm Farm workers and laborers; Crop in Hardwick, Massachusetts
Date of Need: 5/1/2024 to 11/30/2024 Still Life Farm is a diversified fruit and vegetable farm. Workers may perform any combination of tasks related to the planting, cultivating and processing of apples, fruit and vegetable crops. This includes driving, operating, adjusting and maintaining farm machines, preparing soil, seeding, transplanting, planting, pruning, weeding, thinning, spraying general use pesticides or any restricted use pesticides under the direct supervision of a certified applicator, irrigating, mowing, harvesting, grading, packing, ability to read packing and other instructions. Other duties include use of hand tools such as shovels, pruning saws, hoes and ladders. Workers must have the ability to withstand prolonged exposure to variable weather conditions; also required to bend, stoop, or stand for extended periods; and lift and carry 50 pounds on a frequent basis. One moth experience required in duties listed.
