Job Summary
In this role you will be responsible for the operation of a variety of manual and CNC machines including lathes, mills and grinders to produce and repair precision parts used in the repair of Blower and Pump systems.
Responsibilities
The use of manual and CNC machines including lathes, mills and grinders to produce precision parts used in the repair of blower and vacuum pump systems
Measurement gathering using metrology equipment (predominantly in imperial)
Thermal spraying (training to be given)
Welding (training to be given)
Basic Qualifications
Recognised apprentice or vocational training qualification
Experience of working with machine tools and/or mechanical assemblies
Working knowledge of safety protocols
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
Fully site based, with occasional travel to suppliers

Excellent coordination and mechanical skills
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and safety
Self-motivation and the ability to be pro-active
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Maths
Basic computer literacy
Ability to lift up to 25Kg and perform repetitive tasks
