Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

Candidates will be responsible for working in the shipping department of a production facility. They will work in the warehouse side of the plant and cross over to the production side to take finished goods back to the shipping area for dispatch. Responsibilities include:

• Supplying materials to the production lines

• Keeping track of material flow and inventory

• Skid wrapping and palletizing products

• Using an RF Scanner

• Using a reach truck to load trucks and transport material

• Occasionally using a cherry picker

• Shipping products using UPS and FedEx

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Hanover Park, Illinois.

Work Environment

This is a global manufacturer of water filtration systems. At this location, they manufacture water filters and then ship them out. The production floor and warehouse are separate, but candidates should expect to work in both areas of the plant. The facility is well lit and relatively clean, though it is not climate controlled and can get hot in the summer. Safety is a key part of the company culture.
