The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Senior SNOW Application Engineer to join our team supporting our multi-year contract in Hanover, MD. The GOATCLOUDS program provides managerial, design, engineering, architectural, technical, implementation and maintenance of an enterprise IT service management system to manage customer IT service requests, and IT management functionality across the enterprise.

Responsibilities:

Designs software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manages their implementation. Manages software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques and Computer-Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools. Estimates software development costs and schedule. Reviews existing programs and assists in making refinements, reducing operating time and improving current techniques. Formulates and defines specifications for software applications or modifies and maintains existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturer. Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation. Instructs, directs, and checks the work of other task personnel. Responsible for quality assurance review and the evaluation of existing and new software product

• AnalyzeanynewlyidentifiedvulnerabilitiesanddeficiencieswithintheICGovCloudsecurity tool suite; perform gap analysis.

• As a result of the gap analysis and at the direction of the Government, research and evaluate commercialproductscapableofeliminatingthevulnerabilityordeficiencywithinthesecuritytool suite.

• ConductanalysisofalternativesandpresentfindingsofanalysisresultstotheGovernmentina Technical Analysis package for the Government's evaluation and Government's selection of a solution.

• Collaborateandcoordinatewithancillaryorganizationstoprocure,deliver,dispose,andtrack and new HW/SW required for solution implementation.

• PrepareConfigurationPlans,SWenhancementplans,engineersolutionstoeasilyinterfacewith GUI and/or web front-end interfaces.

• Define,design,andincorporateinterfacestoretrievedatafromvariousscanningtools

• Design,validate,andimplementaccesscontrolsas partofthesystemsandservice solutions.

• Enhance,modify,andtestCOTS/GOTSandanyapplicablehardwaretoensureinteroperability and compatibility with existing IC GovCloud architecture; prepare Engineering Change Proposals applicable to any implemented system configuration change.

• Define,coordinate,andscheduletesting,integration,implementation,anddeploymentactivities with dependent external interface devices/owners.

• DeploysecuritysolutionsacrosstheICGovCloud.Installhardwareandimplementrequired software to ensure fully functional computer environment.

• Upon directionof theGovernment prepare and conductsecuritytool instruction/trainingwith regardstonewlydeployedtoolcapabilitiesandfunctionsforauthorizedusersoftheICGovCloud security tool suite.

• Continuously monitor the health and status of security tool suites through IT system management.Maintain,upgrade,refresh,andupdatetomaintainfulloperationalcapacity.

• Conductdatabaseadministrationtomonitor,report,andrepairanydegradationofthehealth and status of the systems and tools within the NISIRT.

Qualifications:

• Fifteen(15)yearsexperienceinthecomputerscienceorsoftwareengineeringdisciplinesin programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.

• Bachelor’sdegreeinComputerScienceorrelateddisciplinefromanaccreditedcollegeoruniversity is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ServiceNow platform is required.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$109,800 - $241,600
