Join our team as a Powder Coater in a dynamic manufacturing environment! You'll operate a batch powder coating system, including parts preparation, spray coating with Gema guns, and managing curing ovens. You will lead a team, improve processes, train new operators, and manage inventory. Apply now!!

salary: $20 - $21 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 7:15 AM - 4:30 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

Operate batch powder coating system, this includes the following

A. Parts preparation (Racking, cleaning, etc..)

B. Electrostatic spray coating gun by Gema, as well as booth

C. Curing oven

D. Wash down booth (When we have it installed, we do not have this today)

E. Unracking and organizing, and Documenting

2. Manage team of people to prepare, clean, rack, unrack, organize, and ship parts

3. Improve powder coating process.

4. Training new operators

5. Inventory management of consumables

6. Usage of a computer to communicate and document information regarding job status and part

production

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

Skills

• Training (1 year of experience is preferred)

• powder coater (1 year of experience is preferred)

• Typing Skills (1 year of experience is preferred)

Qualifications

• Years of experience: 2 years

• Experience level: Experienced
