Abbott Ethical PG Operations Manager (North) - Nutrition Division in Hanoi, Vietnam
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
Responsible for driving the long-term growth of Abbott Nutrition products in the region, across channel and brand through the leadership of a high performing field forces.
Working Location: Handi Resco Tower, 521 Kim Ma, Ba Dinh, Ha Noi.
Working time: Mon to Sat
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Business Management:
• Implement strategic plan for business development to expand potential territories being responsible for
• Build and monitor KPIs and metrics to evaluate the success of operational initiatives
• Market intelligence updates: implement tools to measure POSM, Sachet, Gimmick
• Set up monthly PG Lead – NU phasing target
2. Vendor Management:
• Establish & maintain strong relationship with vendor to facilitate smooth operations and resolve any issues that arise
• Serve as a key contacting point with vendor in reviewing services, and confirming for service settlement
3. Territory Management:
• Conduct nationwide field visit to access market opportunity and ensure business operation and sales objectives are in line with territory planning
• Develop and execute territory management plans to maximize market penetration
• Monitor and analyze territory performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization
• Coordinate with FOM/FOEs, Sales team, and Marketing to ensure alignment of territory management strategies with overall business goals
• Manage compliance processes, including redemption, sachet, NU - lead quality: ensure targeting the right patients
4. Budget Management:
• Develop annual budgets and financial plans for the PG team
• Monitor and manage expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and financial targets
• Work with Ethical Operations Team in reviewing and confirming Accrual and Actual preparation
• Coordinate with Ethical Operations Team in processing P2P system: Proposal, PO, PR, Goods Receipt and in processing payment with Vendor, in coordination with 3A Accounting function.
5. Team Management
• Responsible for Field Force recruitment and turnover rate management under stated rate
• Provide regular, on-field training to ensure employees capabilities and productivities are constantly monitored and improved when needed in coordination with vendor and HR.
• Implement weekly operation meeting with the PG team to track teams’ performance and come up with resolutions for detected issues
6. Stakeholder Management
• Create and execute yearly target plans, cascade monthly target phasing to regional & account target phasing
• Analyze data and deliver consultancies and propose action plan to Ethical Commercial Strategy Director/ESM/Brand teams for effectiveness and efficiency development of Field Force
• Align on marketing scheme and detailing guideline for the PG team
• Set up expectation and supporting need from MKT and internal stakeholder: SFE, SFA, IT, BI.
• Other projects are assigned by line manager
MINIMUM BACKGROUND/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Minimum 6 years
• Sales operations experience in Pharmacy and Healthcare industry is preferable
• Strong background in project and stakeholder management
• Experience in developing customer acquisition, re-engagement, and retention strategies.
