Job Description : Senior Electrical Engineer
Reporting : OPEX Manager
Location : Hanoi & some Northern regions
Role
As a Senior Electrical Engineer at our esteemed company, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing various aspects of electrical design review, site inspection, and tender assistance. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of projects, adhering to Bureau Veritas and industry standards, and delivering high-quality solutions to our clients.
Tasks – Activities – Responsibilities
- Design Review:
Conduct comprehensive reviews of electrical designs, including schematic diagrams, equipment specifications, and layout plans.
Evaluate designs for compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and client specifications.
Provide constructive feedback and recommendations to design review teams for optimization and improvement.
- Site Inspection:
Perform on-site inspections to assess the quality and compliance of electrical installations.
Identify defects, non-compliances, potential issues or deviations from design specifications;assess the level of risk and propose remedial actions.
Prepare inspection reports in a timely and professional manner.
- Tender Assistance:
Assist in the preparation of tender documents, including technical specifications, evaluation criteria.
Participate in tender interview with contractors, clarify technical requirements and address inquiries during the tendering process.
Perform tender evaluations by analyzing technical proposals, conducting technical reviews, and providing recommendations to the tender leader.
- Technical Expertise:
Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in electrical engineering.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within the department.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with other disciplines, such as mechanical, structural, and architectural.
Provide technical support to sales & marketing team to understand the Client’s needs, addressing concerns, and delivering appropriate / innovative solutions.
Candidate profile
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Practising Certificate Grade II or I for M&E design and/or supervision.
Proven experience (more than 10years) in electrical design,design review,site inspection.
Experience working in an international company is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards and proficiency in industry software tools.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal,in English.
Result -oriented mindset with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
