Job Description

: Business Development Executive (Chinese/ English Speaking)

Our job performance is within the framework of the BV Quality Assurance System, follow strictly HSE requirements, Codes of Ethics and BV Group’s policies and procedures.

Tasks – Activities – Responsibilities

  • Lead generation:

Actively search for new construction project leads through market research, networking, attending industry events, and utilizing CRM tools.

  • Client relationship building:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to understand their needs and present suitable construction solutions.

  • Proposal development:

Prepare comprehensive proposals, including project scope, cost estimates, and timelines, to present to potential clients.

  • Contract negotiation:

Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.

  • Market analysis:

Stay updated on current market trends, competitor activity, and industry regulations to identify new business opportunities.

  • Collaboration with internal teams:

Work closely with pre-construction, project management, and sales teams to ensure smooth project transition and execution.

  • Presentation skills:

Deliver compelling presentations to potential clients outlining the company's capabilities and value proposition.

  • Sales pipeline management:

Track sales opportunities through the sales funnel and manage a consistent pipeline of potential projects.

Candidate Requirements

  • Construction industry knowledge (preferred):

Understanding of construction processes, project phases, and relevant regulations.

  • Networking abilities:

Strong ability to build relationships with key decision-makers within the construction industry

  • Sales skills:

Proven experience in lead generation, proposal development, and contract negotiation

  • Communication skills:

Fluent in 4 communication skills in English/ Chinese (listening, speaking, reading, writing)

  • Analytical skills:

Ability to analyze market data and identify potential opportunities

  • CRM proficiency:

Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software to track leads and manage sales pipeline
