Job Title: Facilities Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Hannibal, MODepartment: Clarity Health: FacilitiesEmployment Type: Full-timeShift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.

Job Summary:Are you a reliable and motivated individual with experience in maintenance? In this role, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks and ensuring the safety and functionality of our facilities. The Facilities Management Technician I is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair work on buildings, equipment, and grounds. Technician I’s must be focused on client and employee’s need for the greatest client experience and most effective result. Technician I’s must be able to work independently or within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to Operational Guidelines and professional code of ethics.

  • Participate in staff developmental activities and required meetings.

  • Assist in data collection, program evaluation, and grant applications as needed.

  • Perform all work in a safe manner, using required safety equipment and following procedures.

  • Complete work orders in a timely manner and maintain the work order system.

  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities, identify maintenance needs, and prioritize repairs.

  • Maintain awareness of applicable codes and regulations related to facility maintenance.

  • Be available for on-call duty and flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

  • Remain alert for safety hazards, report them to Facilities leadership for corrective action.

  • Submit all credit card and fuel charges for accounting promptly.

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.

  • Two (2) years of responsible employment history with maintenance experience.

Required License/Certification:

  • Valid driver’s license and insurance with an acceptable driving record.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform effectively in changing job demands.

  • Ability to take necessary and appropriate action independently.

  • Reliability, motivation, creativity, and good customer service skills.

  • Knowledge of maintenance procedures, equipment, and safety practices.

  • Effective communication skills for interaction with coworkers and managers.
