Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a qualified Mid Cyber Analyst with 5+ years of experience in support of one of our large federal clients in Hampton, VA. This person will often be middleman between the senior and junior cyber analysts and will often times be direct support to junior analysts. Their day to day will include but is not limited to:

 Assisting the support to a government civilian that has responsibilities to support different major commands within the Air Force.

 Ability to work through and achieve items within a queue of pending tasks

 Working through security plans, assessments and system categorization

 Performing and being a part of on the job trainings for learn local processes and procedures related to Air Force support.

 Reviewing security plans and system categorizations that come through the queue for completion

Compensation:

$100k to $125k per year annual salary.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field; Can take experience in lieu of degree

 5+ years of professional working experience in cyber risk assessment

 Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF)

 Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53 framework

 IAM Level 2 certification

 Active DoD Security Clearance Familiarity with eMASS

Masters degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field

Knowledge of emerging technology (i.e. Cloud, AI/ML, Networking, Systems Security, etc.) null
