Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.
Establish, optimize and simplify relative management system/procedure/polices; Supervise the implementation of all policies and procedures to improve overall efficiency and cross functional collaboration in order to guide employees' work and improve department efficiency.
Build a team with strong sense of urgency, sense of responsibility, proactive, strong team working and adequate necessary skills, and fully align with TE core value: Allocate and balance the allocation of work across direct reports; Review and provide timely feedback to direct reports.
Mentor, develop and motivate them, Help resolve people/functional issues in the team in order to achieve targeted dept performance and retain key talent.
Review planning accuracy and inventory level monthly and action plan for improvement in order to achieve the yearly target
Regularly review with purchasing group to ensure materials are ready for production as planned;
Ensure proactively communicate with manufacturing on any abnormal things which impacts normal production, implement necessary recovery plan to minimize negative impacts on production and delivery.
Review production output daily and driving operation to achieve output goal
Review STR/LT monthly and action plan in order to achieve the yearly target
Manage, optimize and upgrade vendor base to ensure having competent vendors to support our current and future business needs
Build strong partnership with strategic vendors with fully compliance with TE's procurement policy
Review cost saving result monthly and action plan, supply performance on delivery /quality in order to achieve the yearly target
Monitor inventory report monthly and action plan to achieve the yearly target
Monthly review shipping performance and action plan to achieve the yearly target; Oversee compliance with cross function in order to achieve the yearly target
Monthly BU supply chain review meeting with sales/PM/Demand team and BU central supply team in order to develop planning strategy and achieve the yearly target
Oversee and strictly follow EHS rules implementation to avoid any accident
What your background should look like:
Bachelor degree, 10+ years materials /supply chain management experience in big electric industrial companies.
Master Degree / APICS Certified is a plus
Data driven, experience in working with ERP systems and other IT systems at customer interface, e.g. SAP, EDI Excel
Supplier negotiation & Customer satisfaction under force majeure
Communication skill, customer focus, working under pressure, accountability , passion , energy
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Process Improvement.
Ability to influence others at all levels of the organization through collaboration.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $94,800- $142,320 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
