Join our growing International Solutions and Services group as a Premier Enterprise Storage Support Engineer! You will join an international team and  will be reporting to our Infrastructure Premier Operations Director. Senior Storage Premier Technical Support Engineer As a Senior Storage Premier Technical Support Engineer, you will provide support to enterprise customers using Lenovo ThinkSystem DE, DM, DG, and DS storage products. Your role involves isolating, diagnosing, reproducing, and fixing technical issues promptly. To excel in this position, you must be a motivated learner, possess customer service and technical problem-solving skills, and embrace challenges. It is important to be aware that the work is in a 24/7 shift environment using the Follow-The-Sun support model. On-call rotation for weekends and holidays will take place. Responsibilities: Provide technical support for Lenovo ThinkSystem storage products. Isolate, diagnose, reproduce, and resolve technical issues. Collaborate with end customers, partners, field engineers, and service support personnel. Debug storage issues and tune for performance. Present issues and proposed solutions effectively. Requirements: Storage Expertise: Proficiency in Block, File, Object Storage, NVMe, and systems including DAS, SAN, NAS, and DE/DM (Data ONTAP and Clustered Data ONTAP/ONCOMMAND Storage Manager), with experience in managing volumes, LUNs, and groups. Advanced Features & High Availability: Knowledge of tiering, thin provisioning, deduplication, replication, snapshots, compression, storage encryption, as well as high availability setups, failover mechanisms, and RAID/DDP groups. Networking & Topology Management: Skills in installing, using, and debugging storage topologies, alongside networking expertise in Fiber Channel, iSCSI, Ethernet, and NVMe over FC. Operating Systems & Virtualization: Proficiency in Linux (RHEL, SuSE) and Windows Server OS, with experience in VMware and vSAN (VASA, VVols), and familiarity with protocols such as CIFS, iSCSI, and NFS. Additional Skills & Documentation: Optional knowledge of Kubernetes, SANtricity, SVC, Rest API, and CLI, along with experience in writing documentation and procedures, and skills in Python and automation tools. The final offer could be, of course, negotiated higher than the advertised minimum - it all depends on your experience!
