We are currently seeking service technicians for our Hampden, Machias, Lincoln, Carver, Dennysville, and Penobscot branches. The positions include Installs, repairs, and services residential and commercial propane and/or oil burner equipment and appliances while ensuring a high level of customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- All work to adhere to company standards and State and Federal Codes

Performs all required tasks in a safe and professional manner
Installs, services and trouble shoots oil, propane and natural gas equipment
Maintains positive relationships with vendors, customers, and the public
Serves existing accounts by investigating customers technical complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems.
Establishes service by studying system requirements; ordering and gathering components and parts; completing installation; performing acceptance tests.
Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements.
Keeps personal equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
Maintains customer confidence by keeping service information confidential.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
Accomplishes operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess a State of Maine drivers license with a clean driving record. Must be certified by the Company in each of the following areas:
(A) State of Maine Fuel Board Apprentice, Journeyman or Master Oil License
(B) State of Maine Tank Setter Propane License
(C) State of Maine Appliance Connection and Service Propane License
