Job Overview
Screw Machine Setup / Operate
Individual will perform machine setup on Screw Machines and/or run machinery, consistent with current ISO requirements, safety requirements, and 5-S requirements.
A Day In The Life
Responsible for operation of screw machines; including, loading bar stock, filling fluids, and removing chips from machine.
Responsible for performing setup on screw machines; including, tooling changes, tool sharpening, and tool adjustments to ensure continued conformance to specifications.
Responsible for conformance with quality specifications.
Ability to assist other operators in performing tool changes, trouble shooting, and maintenance activities.
Ability to assist in training others on operation and setup of screw machines.

Mechanically inclined – Individual needs to be good with tools and machinery and can adapt quickly to fixings things both familiar and unfamiliar.
Perform standard math – Individual needs to able to perform standard math to effectively make machine adjustments.
Reasoning ability – Ability to think, reflect, and make decision to overcome obstacles.
