Your responsibilities Support Product Engineers in the design and development of passive dampers for truck shock absorbers. Assist in creating design specifications, technical drawings, and 3D models for damper components. Contribute to brainstorming sessions and design reviews, providing input on material selection, manufacturing processes, and product performance. Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize damper design for durability, cost-efficiency, and performance. Assist in conducting design iterations and modifications based on project requirements and engineering feedback. Ensure designs meet customer and military standards, aligning with overall product specifications. Your profile This position does not provide relocation assistance or a housing stipend. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. Strong foundation in engineering principles. Beginner in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for designing and modeling mechanical components. Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and product development cycles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and precision. Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and contribute to a dynamic engineering team. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Enthusiasm for hands-on design and a passion for innovation in automotive or mechanical systems.
