Butler Metropolitan Housing Authority Mechanic (Maintenance) I in HAMILTON, Ohio
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF TILE POSITION:
- Perform grounds maintenance duties as directed, including but not limited to lawn moving, weed control, snow removal, litter control, and dumpsters condition.
- Perform janitorial duties as required.
- Paint apartments as directed.
- Notify the Maintenance Supervisor as to disabled inoperable vehicles, broken glass, torn screens and/or residents with debris/junk outside their unit. Daily inspection of assigned vehicle and upkeep of mileage log.
- Perform minor maintenance repairs as directed.
- Complete work orders as directed.
BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF:
Lead based paint/asbestos awareness and safety procedures; basic HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and residential carpentry procedures; proper lifting techniques; public relations; workplace safety.
