Michael Baker International is seeking an energetic and experienced Critical Path Method (CPM) Scheduler. RESPONSIBILITIES

The ideal candidate will have a background in providing CPM scheduling services to a variety of clients. Responsibilities of the position include:
Collaborative scheduling, forecasting, and analysis as a lead scheduler for Michael Baker and/or Client Project managers.
Ability to prepare and update detailed design schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, including submission dates, review times, major activities, durations, critical path items, interdependencies, etc.
Developing, updating, and analyzing detailed CPM schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, including cost and resource-loaded schedules.
Developing construction schedules from project plans and specifications using industry defined production rates.
Using Schedule Analyzer to compare two separate schedules as well as being able to create reports in Primavera. Reports include cost loading graphs, manpower graphs, expense details, activity relationships, activity codes, and resource assignments.
Implementing monthly schedule updates and variance reports in accordance with Client requirements.
Managing attention to critical and near-critical path activities on behalf of the client.
Assessing contractor monthly schedule updates and support analysis of potential delay claims and change orders.
Performing time impact analyses (TIA) and forensic delay analyses to determine the extent of potential delays and contractor claims.
Identifying and measuring scope change impact on a project.
Identifying and supporting recovery and/or risk mitigation plans.
Recommending CPM schedule-based scope change and delay recovery solutions.
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding budgets for assigned tasks/projects, resources, and conduct, and adhere to Michael Baker policies and procedures.
Developing performance metrics derived from planned vs as-built/as-completed schedules related to time and cost by project and construction types
Preparing Owner's summary baseline schedules, reports, and integrated master schedules for use and/or approval by project teams.
Preparing and providing monthly schedule progress reports and associated variance explanations for several projects with limited supervision.
Review contractor and designer schedules with project team members regularly to ensure that accurate and timely data is incorporated into the schedule.
Facilitating/leading project scheduling meetings and/or interactive planning meetings as required by the project team.
At the completion of the project, develop and record the project's historical schedule information and lessons learned, for future use.
Lead/teach teams of junior schedulers.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, and/or 5 years of experience in developing and managing complex, multi-contractor Project Schedules
Successful and related experience in the above responsibilities of this position
Experience managing/ leading cross-functional teams.
Field construction and/or design experience and an ability to conceptualize and build design phase/pre-construction conceptual project schedules from the design team drawings/specs and cost estimates.
Experience working within large and challenging Client Programs with one or more project teams.
Experience in preparing high-level project reports and documentation.
Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek.

COMPENSATION

The approximate compensation range for this position is $86,648 TO $125,114. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
