We are continuously pursuing new and challenging machining projects, leading us to bring on a CNC Engineer who will drive the machining efforts currently underway and those yet to come.

The Ideal CNC Engineer:

  • Values aggressive tool paths that utilize the capability of the machining system
  • Appreciates and delivers accurate, collision-free toolpaths
  • Enjoys working with CNC operators and sharing knowledge and experience
  • Does not become so tied to tooling or tool paths that direction cannot be changed when a better solution becomes apparent
  • Has experience with machining fixture design
  • Demonstrated mastery of 3-axis milling
  • Demonstrated mastery of turning operations
  • Demonstrated CNC process launch abilities
  • Demonstrated experience with macro programming

CNC Engineer Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Master CAM turn and mill programming
  • Proficiency with probing sequences
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks is strongly preferred
  • Bachelors degree in mechanical or design engineering from an accredited university or college, or commensurate coursework and experience with displayed proficiency in engineering roles
